About Us
Finding Inspiration in Every Turn
ASSER was founded by three MArch students who met in college at the beginning of their careers. For the past five years, they have been anxious to finish school and enter the building industry as professionals in their field. After graduating with master's degrees a year into the Covid-19 pandemic, the lack of job opportunities and traditional career paths allowed them to turn adversity into opportunity by starting their design studio.

What is ASSER?
The studio comprises a team of designers and developers from the El Paso/Juarez Region, focusing on the design development along the border. Representing a binational region, ASSER takes inspiration from the art, design, and historical context that characterizes the Mexican-American culture, intending to preserve, reinvent and add to the existing heritage. Combined with modern construction techniques, material explorations, and LEED standards, the studio stands for sustainable and vernacular design- by the region, for the area.
Their design process involves researching and understanding each project while focusing on its social and environmental impact. With creativity and consistency, ASSER takes value in the client's initial idea, expanding it throughout the design, construction, and administration process, allowing the client to focus on their business priorities while providing a finished product that merges with the client, not the other way around.
Values, trust, and experience drive ASSER Design & Construction. A company with an ethos of providing solutions that maximize efficiency with gratifying client service, demonstrated by the pride they take in their hospitality. While giving their clients a comfortable experience, they work step by step with them to achieve the ideal design. For ASSER, a successful design brings an emotional connection to the user while solving the functionality of spaces.
